Freshness is at the core of Simple Roots' operation. To ensure you receive the highest quality produce, we do not store vegetables in warehouses. Instead, we source our produce directly from local farms the evening prior to your delivery. Our logistics are optimized to deliver the vegetables straight to your doorstep within 18 hours of harvest, guaranteeing maximum freshness and nutritional value.
We currently operate and deliver exclusively within specific, hyper-local areas in Bangalore to maintain our strict 18-hour harvest-to-home timeline. Our active delivery zones include RR Nagar, Uttarahalli, JP Nagar, Jaya Nagar, Kattariguppe, Girinagar, Gubbalala, and Banashankari. If you reside outside these zones, you may register as "Other" during signup; we will save your details and notify you the moment we expand our delivery network to your neighborhood.
To prevent food waste and ensure you are always eating fresh, we operate on a twice-a-week delivery model. During onboarding, you will select a schedule that best fits your lifestyle (Mon & Thur, Tue & Fri, or Wed & Sat). Your perfectly portioned vegetable box will arrive early in the morning on your chosen days. If you are traveling or attending an event and need to skip a delivery, you can easily notify us via WhatsApp to pause your box for that specific day.
We are deeply committed to promoting eco-friendly practices and minimizing packaging waste. As part of this commitment, we use absolutely zero single-use plastic packaging for individual vegetables inside your box. Instead, we utilize reusable delivery crates and materials. We kindly request our community to cooperate by handing back the previous delivery's packaging materials to our personnel upon receiving your new box, ensuring a continuous, sustainable cycle of reuse and recycling.
Because our deliveries occur early in the morning, our personnel may leave your vegetable box at your doorstep or with your building's security staff if you are unavailable. Once the box is delivered to the designated address, Simple Roots is not responsible for any theft, damage, or degradation of the vegetables due to them sitting outside for extended periods. If gated community restrictions prevent our personnel from reaching your door, please ensure prior authorization is arranged.
